When my daughter was born, I gave up social media as a whole primarily to pay attention to her and also as a healthy way of giving up some screen time. But as I’ve researched board game development, I’ve found that developing a community and getting in touch with people is crucial to a successful launch.

So now I’m redownloading Instagram, figuring out what a Reel is, following some of the game designers I’ve been reading about, and trying to develop that community. What’s great about the tabletop culture, there is a lot of support for each other. If you have a game and I have a game, we don’t compete against each other. Let’s both buy each others’ games! I like your game and you like mine!
